The best thing about today...
was getting up and getting going this morning. I threw a pot roast in the crock pot, went to work and got lots of things done, went to mom and dad's and bathed both the dogs, came home and played some volleyball on playstation, and took a nap. It was a busy day!
was thinking about the next few months and all the exciting things to come!

The best thing about today...
was laughing with Dan when we realized the recipe that we were making for dinner hadn't been chosen by either of us. It was the page that the book was left open on. We made it and it was pretty good!
was getting into comfy pajamas and curling up on the couch.

was an early morning chat with my sister and my mom before work.
was getting a phone call that our counteroffer has been accepted...but we still have a few steps to go before we can get really excited.

was talking to Dan about a gazillion times throughout the day as we sorted out our plan for our counteroffer for the house.
was visiting a special little friend in the hospital and bringing fun things and lots of love.

was sleeping in. That's what the weekends are for!
was looking at houses with Dan and my dad. We found a house that we absolutely love!
was having a pajama & pizza party with Dan where we pull the mattress into the living room and eat pizza and watch movies in our jammies. It was very fun!

was that a very special little girl celebrated her 7th birthday!

was getting caught up on some paperwork.

was thinking of Amy on her 30th birthday! Hope it was great!!
was having an okay day at work and not stressing out too much.
was making it to volleyball in the awful snow (and those roads were bad!).
was menu planning and grocery shopping for the next week with Dan. We have a full fridge and an empty bank account!
was making snowflake pancakes with my awesome snowflake mold from Crate and Barrel. They sure turned out cute!

was going to early church and getting a hug from my pastor.
was going to mom and dads and getting to chat with mom.
was spending quality time with my doggies in the bathroom (hair trim, nail trim, baths,...the works) and we even cuddled on the bathroom floor for a bit.
was having a good chat with Bettina this evening.
was narrowing our houses down to 1!! Now the dads will walk through this week and we'll go from there!!

was sitting in my jammies until noon.
was the delicious pancakes, bacon, fruit and OJ we had for breakfast.
was going to take a look at our top 4 houses...which was narrowed down to 3...then to 2.....

was a relaxing and calm morning....too bad it only lasted until 10:30a.

The best thing about today...
was leaving work at the end of the day. Seriously...what's the deal with this week?? It's just been a really rough one.
was the nap I took when I got home. It was one heck of a quality nap!
was the premiere of Survivor...which I haven't been able to watch yet (as my hubby is watching Cosby show re-runs). A new season of Survivor fun is awaiting!!

The best thing about today...
was when it was time to leave work. Yikes...it's been quite the week.
was meeting up with Dan and looking at more houses...and finding another one to add to our favorites list.
was playing vball, even though we lost, because I feel like I actually had fun this time.

The best thing about today...
was a quick but good workout after work. I even got to watch Judge Judy on TV, rather than listening to her on the radio.
was the fabulous spaghetti and meatballs that Dan made for dinner. It was the best meal I ever had!

was starting off the week with a not-so-bad day!
was going to a Zumba class at the Y. I may not have the best hip-shake, but I do have rhythm!

was going to church. I really enjoy listening to my pastor.
was visiting the amazing art exhibit that was put on to showcase some extraordinary artwork from some extraordinary artists! I was like a proud mama!

was that it's KTB's birthday!! Happy Birthday to one of my BFFers!
was more house hunting with the hubby. We found yet another one to add to the top 5!!!
was the gorgeous sun and temps in the 50's! Too bad it won't last too long!
was spending time with my sisters. We went to a movie (he's just not that into you) which was great, and out to dinner. It was really good sister time!

was going outside during work and playing in the snow. We even painted a heart on a snow mound.
was spending the evening with two amazing ladies, Kim and Megan. We chatted, caught up on everything, ate pizza and played with the baby. They are great friends and I'm very lucky that they are friends of mine!

The best thing about today...
was celebrating my nephew's birthday! Although I don't deal well with kid birthday parties, I tried to relax and have a good time. My nephew was sure having a great time and that's all that matters.
